Homeowners are responsible for applications, fees, & gathering three bids. The city will provide payment directly to the contractor on your behalf. The contractor is responsible for submitting the repair’s completed invoice to the city on behalf of the homeowner.
• MCES Grant: 50% of the repair cost up to $5000 – online application – video upload required – available for a limited time only, once funds run out, it closes – 3 bids after approval
• MPLS SAP: tax assessment – requires 3 bids – online application – available all year round
