Homeowner led sewer repair financial assistance program.

Homeowners are responsible for applications, fees, & gathering three bids. The city will provide payment directly to the contractor on your behalf. The contractor is responsible for submitting the repair’s completed invoice to the city on behalf of the homeowner.
• The Sanitary Sewer Line Special Assessment Program — assessed to property taxes over a 5-year period at 5% annual interest.
Richfield requires an Inflow & Infiltration (I&I) sewer inspection for all home sales, to be completed by a city inspector. Please call (612) 861-9882 to schedule.
