Homeowner & contractor led sewer repair financial assistance program.
Homeowners are responsible for applications, fees & gathering three bids. The city will provide payment directly to the contractor on your behalf. The contractor is responsible for submitting the SAP application and bids, repair’s completed invoice, signed completion form by the homeowner, and lien waiver to the city on behalf of the homeowner.
• MCES Grant: 50% of the repair cost up to $5000 – homeowner submits application and bids – available for a limited time only, once funds run out, it closes – 3 bids before approval – offers higher grant awards for low-income households

• Sewer Assessment Program: property tax assessment – requires 3 bids if over $10k – we send the application – contractor submits your 3 bids and application to the city
