Homeowner led sewer repair financial assistance programs have limited availability.
Homeowners are responsible for applications, fees, and soliciting three bids from contractors, such as Ouverson Sewer & Water. The City will provide payment directly to the contractor on your behalf. The contractor is responsible for submitting the completed invoice to the City on behalf of the homeowner.
• *MCES Grant: 50% of the repair cost covered up to $5000. The City will send an application to qualified homeowners, which is available for a limited time only. Once the fund runs out, it closes.

• CEE Grant: This grant works in conjunction with MCES or as a standalone grant. With MCES: covers up to 50% of the remaining balance after MCES funds have been distributed
• Without MCES: acts the same as the MCES grant; available for a limited time only, and once funds run out, it closes. Three bids from contractors such as Ouverson Sewer & Water, are required.
