SEWER INSPECTIONS

complimentary sewer inspections

time for a sewer inspection?

If you’re experiencing slow drains, recurring backups, purchasing a home, or have repeatedly had roots cleared, a professional sewer inspection can identify underlying structural issues before they become costly sewer failures. At Ouverson, we provide complimentary sewer camera inspections to evaluate the structural integrity and overall condition of your sewer line to determine whether a repair is necessary.

what we
look for

Our inspection identifies:

  • Cracks and fractures

  • Root intrusion

  • Offset or separated joints

  • Pipe corrosion, deterioration, or scaling

  • Partial or full collapses

  • Pipe bellies (low spots holding water)

Using high-resolution camera equipment, we assess the condition of your pipe from the inside and explain our findings clearly.

what happens after the inspection?

If your sewer line is in good condition, we’ll let you know. If we identify structural defects, we provide practical repair options, such as trenchless lining, patching, wye liners, or replacement when necessary.

Inflow & Infiltration (I&I) Inspections and Compliance

If you are required to conduct an Inflow & Infiltration (I&I) inspection, your sewer line must be inspected and brought into compliance, typically with a specific deadline. Ouverson provides I&I inspections and requisite sewer repairs to help bring homeowners into municipal compliance in a timely manner.

what is i&i?

Inflow and Infiltration occurs when groundwater or stormwater enters the sanitary sewer system through:

  • Cracked or deteriorated pipes

  • Faulty service connections

  • Improper sump pump or drain connections

  • Defective joints

Municipalities require inspection and correction to reduce overload on the sanitary sewer system and prevent backups.

our i&i process:

  • Review your city’s specific I&I requirements

  • Perform a professional sewer inspection

  • Identify infiltration sources and defects

  • Document findings per city requirements

  • Provide a clear compliance repair plan

  • Complete necessary repairs (e.g., lining, patching, replacement)

  • Provide required documentation for municipal compliance

why work with ouverson?

  • Experience in municipal I&I programs

  • Trenchless repair expertise

  • Full inspection-to-repair service

  • Clear documentation, communication, and compliance support
