Homeowner lead sewer repair financial assistance program, income restricted.
Golden Valley residents who need to repair sanitary sewer systems to comply with the City’s I&I ordinance are eligible to apply for grant funds from MCES. A lottery system will be used to randomly draw names for the available grants.
Preference will be given to homeowner(s) with a house value below $561,500 and an annual household income of less than $88,300.
Golden Valley requires an Inflow & Infiltration (I&I) sewer inspection for all home sales, to be completed by a city inspector. Please call the City at (763) 593-3962 to verify if your property needs certification, or call (612) 861-9882 to schedule with a city inspector.
