Homeowner lead sewer repair financial assistance program.
Homeowners are responsible for applications, fees, & gathering three bids. The city will provide payment directly to the contractor on your behalf. The contractor is responsible for submitting the repair’s completed invoice to the city on behalf of the homeowner.
• Tax Assessment: 85% of repair cost • Term of 10 years at 3% interest • Must sign an Assessment Agreement
• City Funding: 15% of repair costs • Any type of I&I repair is eligible • Maximum subsidy amount is $5000
• Assessment Deferral: Must be at least 65 years old or • Retired due to a permanent disability • Limited financial resources
West St. Paul requires an Inflow & Infiltration (I&I) sewer inspection for all home sales, to be completed by a city contractor. Please call (651) 259-2622 to schedule.
